GSVA Growth: The sector’s contribution at current prices increased by 10.1%, from Rs. 2,25,663 crore in 2022-23 (First Revised Estimates, FRE) to Rs. 2,48,505 crore in 2023-24 (AE).
Subsector Performance:
Mining and Quarrying: Grew by 10.5%.
Manufacturing: Saw a lower growth rate of 9.6%, indicating potential challenges in production capacity or market demand.
Electricity, Gas, Water Supply, and Other Utility Services: Grew by 10.3%.
Construction: Demonstrated strong growth at 10.9%.
