- K. Dar Commission: It is known as the Linguistic Provinces Commission. It was appointed in 1948 consisting of three members viz., S.K. Dar, Pannalal and Jagat Narain Lal. This commission was directed to examine and report on the formation of new provinces.
- Justice Sayeed Fazal Ali Committee: The central government constituted a committee in August 1953 to examine the reconstitution of states. Justice Sayeed Fazal Ali was the chairman of this committee, Sardar K.M. Panikkar and Pandit Hridayanath Kunjru were the members. It submitted its report to the central government in September 1955.
- Bachawat Committee: The Government of India appointed a committee in 1969, under the chairmanship of R.S. Bachawat, alongwith other two members, for the inter-state distribution of Krishna water. This committee also examined the distribution of Krishna water between Telangana and Andhra regions.
- Justice Wanchoo Committee: Justice Wanchoo was entrusted to report on the financial and other implications and the questions to be considered to establish Andhra state by the Government of India on 19th December 1952.
- Lalith Committee: Sri Kumar Lalith Committee was appointed in 1969 by the Government of A.P. to estimate Telangana’s surplus funds.
- Justice Bhargava Committee: Central government appointed a high power committee to calculate Telangana’s surplus funds. This committee was headed by Justice Vashista Bhargava. Prof. Mukut Vihari Madhur, Hari Bhushan Bhar and T.N. Krishna Swamy were the other members of this committee.
- Jayabharath Reddy Committee: Officers Committee with three members headed by Jayabharath Reddy was appointed by the Chief Minister of A.P. in 1984. It’s aim was to enquire into the complaints of Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers union about violation of presidential order of 1975 with regard to employment in government.
- M Girglani Commission: In 2001, the Government of A.P. appointed a one person com- mission with J.M. Girglani to enquire in to the implementation of the GO. 610 which was issued to repatriate non-local employees.
