The state operates 479 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs), offering education to girls from low socio-economic backgrounds, and has achieved significant enrollment rates in these institutions. Additionally, the state manages 194 Model Schools in educationally backward blocks, providing high-quality education from Class VI to Intermediate in English medium.
