Agriculture and Allied Sectors

• Sectoral Contribution: The Agriculture sector’s contribution to Telangana’s GSVA at current prices increased by 4%.
• GSVA Growth: The sector’s contribution grew from Rs. 2,03,247 crore in 2022-23 (FRE) to Rs. 2,11,422 crore in 2023-24 (AE).
• Government Support: Despite rapid industrialization and urbanization, agriculture remains a crucial sector, with the state government dedicated to enhancing agricultural productivity, promoting sustainable practices, improving irrigation facilities, and supporting farmers through various schemes and initiatives.
