PVNRKSS Project at Thupakulagudem Village
Location of Barrage:
The project envisages stabilization of the existing J. Chokka Rao Devadula Lift Irrigation Scheme
(JCRDLIS) command area of about 2,51,310 hectares by constructing a barrage at Thupakulagudem village across the River Godavari, near the confluence of Rivers Indravathi and Godavari. Additionally, the project provides irrigation facilities for a command area of 3,04,000 hectares under SRSP Stages I and II.
The project is located in Thupakulagudem (V), Eturnagaram (M), Warangal District, Telangana State.
