  • In Telangana, research on the Devadasi system was done by Narayana Swamy, Gadiyaram Ramakrishna and Kala Krishna.
  • Muthu Lakshmi Reddy (TN), Raghupati Venkata Ratnam Naidu fought for the eradication of devadasi system.
