The government of Telangana launched T-PRIDE (Telangana State Program for Rapid Incubation Dalit Entrepreneurs) incentive scheme on 29 November 2014 to provide a special incentive package for SC/ST Entrepreneurs. Under the New Industrial Policy Framework for The State of Telangana 2014, the State Government approved various fiscal benefits under the T-PRIDE incentive scheme.
The total amount released under TS-PRIDE to eligible social groups. Between 2016- 17 and 2020-2 1, the disbursements had increased almost 234%. 12,602 SC applicants, and 11,694 ST applicants have received subsidies to the tune of Rs. 1,150.5 crore till January 2022.
