Satakarni-II

Satakarni-II was the sixth ruler of the Satavahana dynasty and ruled for 56 years. He expanded the boundaries of his kingdom from the Vindhyas to the river Ganges in the north. His coins have been discovered in Telangana, Northern Maharashtra, Malwa, and Madhya Pradesh, indicating his extensive territorial influence. According to the Yugapurana, he drove the Sakas out of Kalinga and later advanced to Pataliputra, annexing it. After his reign, eight rulers followed, but little is known about them. Although they were weak, they managed to retain control over the Satavahana realm.
