- To meet the people, KCR again started the Second Padayayatra from Mahabubnagar district only. He walked from Alampur to Gadwal a total of 1 80 KMs and organized a large public meeting in Gadwal on July 30. To look after the problems faced by the farmers depending on Nagarjuna Sagar left canal, he began padayatra from Kodad on August 25, 2003 and reached Haliya on 3. On the same day addressing the public meeting he narrates the injustice done to Telangana in the construction of Sagar and asserted that the only solution was formation of Telangana State. Similarly, TRS party in August organized ‘Kolahalan Meeting in Kolhapur, Mahabubnagar district, in September Nagara” meeting in Nagar Kurnool, Mahabubnagar district. These meetings raised the party strength in Mahabubnagar district.
- In order to achieve statehood for Telangana, KCR thought of a national level movement along with the leaders of other states who were also demanding separate states. He organized a meeting at ‘Alankar Hotel in Delhi on September 9, 2003. Ajít síngh, Shibusoren, Bhanwarlal attended the meeting KCR was elected as the national convener for separate states. Conducting the meetings, seminars and padayatra KCR met political leaders, intellectuals, masses and advocated the necessity of a separate state for Telangana. In order to involve the students also directly in the moment he conducted a large scale public meeting in front of Arts college building Osmania University on September 17,2003. A large number of students of the districts of Telangana attended the meeting
