LVM3-M3 / OneWeb India-2 Mission
- Mission was successfully launched on Mar 26, 2023
- LVM3 M3/ OneWeb India-2 Mission is accomplished successfully.
- In its sixth consecutive successful flight of LVM3, the vehicle placed 36 satellites belonging to the OneWeb Group Company in their intended 450 km circular orbit with an inclination of 87.4 degrees.
SSLV-D1/EOS-02 Mission
- The first developmental flight SSLV-D1/EOS-02 Mission was scheduled for August 7, 2022
- SSLV-D1 was expected to launch EOS-02 and AzaadiSAT satellites.
- The vehicle, however, fell short of placing the satellites into their intended orbits. SSLV-D2, launched on February 10, 2023, became the first SSLV to launch satellites successfully.
SSLV-D2/EOS-07 MISSION
- The second developmental flight of Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV), SSLV-D2 is successfully launched on February 10, 2023
- SSLV-D2 is intended to inject EOS-07, Janus-1 and AzaadiSAT-2 satellites into 450 km circular orbit
- EOS-07 is 156.3 kg satellite designed, developed and realized by ISRO.
- New experiments include mm-Wave Humidity Sounder and Spectrum Monitoring Payload.
- Janus-1, a 10.2 kg satellite belongs to ANTARIS, USA. A 8.7 kg satellite AzaadiSAT-2 is a combined effort of about 750 girl students across India guided by Space Kidz India, Chennai.
PSLV-C54/EOS-06 Mission
- ISRO’s work horse PSLV-C54 has successfully launched EOS-06 satellite along with Eight Nano-satellites into two different SSPOs. The mission was accomplished from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR on 26th November 2022.
- The EOS-06 is envisaged to observe ocean color data, sea surface temperature and wind vector data to use in Oceanography, climatic and meteorological applications.
- EOS-06 is third generation satellite in the Oceansat series, which provides continued services of Oceansat-2 with enhanced payload capability.
- The satellite onboard carries four important payloads viz. Ocean Color Monitor (OCM-3), Sea Surface Temperature Monitor (SSTM), Ku-Band Scatterometer (SCAT-3), ARGOS.
- INDIA-BHUTAN SAT a collaborative mission between India and Bhutan is INS-2B satellite for Bhutan with two payloadsviz. NanoMx, a multispectral optical imaging payload developed by Space Applications Centre (SAC) and APRS-Digipeater which is jointly developed by DITT-Bhutan and URSC was successfully deployed.
LVM3 M2 / OneWeb India-1 Mission
- LVM3 launch vehicle placed 36 satellites of OneWeb to their intended orbits on October 23, 2022
- OneWeb Gen-1 satellites utilize a bent-pipe technology approach to offer communication in Ku-band and Ku-bands. They are arranged in 12 orbital planes with 49 satellites in each plane at 1200 km.
- This was one of the biggest commercial orders executed by ISRO. With this launch, the LVM3 enters into global market in a grand manner.
