Arjun Armoured Recovery and Repair Vehicle (Arjun ARRV)
- Arjun Armoured Recovery and Repair Vehicle (Arjun ARRV), a state-of-the-art supporting vehicle for the mechanized forces, is developed by CVRDE with BEML as co-development and production agency.
- Its multifaceted- functions include winching, towing & pushing, lifting & moving with load, anchoring, dozing, welding, cutting, replenishing, maintenance & repair services in the field, spares supply, provisioning of power supply & power operated tools and battery charging.
- It is primarily meant to render requisite recovery & repair cover to Arjun MBT throughout its life span and also it can be used effectively with other heavy military equipment.
Arjun Main Battle Tank Mk I
- Arjun MBT offers superior firepower, high mobility, and excellent protection. After successful completion of exhaustive automotive & firing trials, Arjun MBT, produced at HVF, was inducted into the Services. Arjun MBT Mk I has been named as “Desert Ferrari” by tank experts.
Corrosion-resistant catalyst for acid Fuel cells
- NMRL has developed a method for production of high surface area; high metal loading electro catalyst on graphitic support for acid fuel cells.
- The commercial graphitic support is modified to facilitate deposition of noble metal and to increase the durability of support and the catalyst.
Helinet For CHEETAH Helicopter
- Helinet are made of textile tapes and cordages which are primarily used for transportation by helicopters in underslung condition. Such nets for Chetak/Cheetah helicopters have been successfully designed and developed by ADRDE. These nets are also being used for transporting the components of LLLR radars developed by one of the sister lab.
Kaveri Core Engine – Kabini
- Kabini engine comprising of high pressure compressor, combustor and high pressure turbine is used for demonstrating hot end parts technology and study the aero-mechanical behaviour of High Pressure spool of the kaveri engine.
