- Venus – Hottest planet due to a thick CO₂ atmosphere, exhibits a greenhouse effect.
- Earth – The only planet with liquid water and life.
- Mars – Known as the “Red Planet,” it has signs of past water flow.
Gas and Ice Giants
- Jupiter – The largest planet with a Great Red Spot (storm).
- Saturn – Known for its prominent ring system.
- Uranus – Rotates on its side and has a faint ring system.
- Neptune – The farthest planet, with strong winds and a deep blue color due to methane.
