The Telangana Students Front (TSF) was established in October 1998 by a student named Khasim at Osmania University. The organization emerged as a youth-driven movement dedicated to advocating for Telangana’s rights and addressing the socio-political injustices faced by the region.

TSF operated under the ideology of the People’s War Party and was affiliated with the Telangana Jana Sabha. It played a significant role in mobilizing students and young activists in the fight for Telangana’s separate statehood.

One of TSF’s major contributions was its collaboration with Telangana Jana Sabha to combat the atrocities committed by Sunnam Konda Reddy in Palamuru. The organization provided Rs. 4 lakh in compensation to the affected families, showcasing its commitment to social justice.

In 2000, TSF launched the “Praja Chaitanya Yatra”, a campaign aimed at traveling across Telangana’s villages to raise awareness about the injustices and exploitation faced by the region. Through this initiative, TSF played a crucial role in strengthening the Telangana movement by engaging directly with the grassroots population.
