Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (STIP 2013)

The period between 2010 and 2020 was declared as the ‘Decade of Innovation’ by the Government of India. The primary goal during this time was to seamlessly transform the country into a knowledge-based economy. To achieve this broad vision and to position the nation among the top five global scientific powers, the Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (STIP) was introduced in 2013.

Introduction of STIP 2013:
